Le Tamerici

“Le Tamerici” is the result of a desire to find traditional gastronomic recipes, a passion for the area and all facets of the culture of food.

In 1991, Paola Calciolari's passion led her to create high quality preserves, jams, marmalades and sweet fruit pickles, divided into three lines: Classica, Biologica and Meditazione.

Our products are the result of combining typical local raw materials from the Mantua area, such as the Campanina apple, white melon or green tomato, and adding in unexpected and refined additions. Only fresh raw materials are selected and processed, using as much time as need for each specific method, thus allowing the colours and fragrances to be kept without resorting to additives, antioxidants, thickeners and preservatives.

The high production standards are shown by the awarding of three major international quality certifications: ISO 22000, IFS and BRC. For the Biologica – or organic – line, Le Tamerici have received ICEA and JAS certification.

The passion for tastes has no borders: everything is permitted, from the spicy Mantuan 'mostarda' (fruit pickle) to the surprising red onion jam. Our products are pure taste, immortalised in the perfect moment and wrapped in quality.
