Tiramisù with strawberry and balsamic vinegar compote

Method
Whisk the egg yolks in a mixer, slowly pouring in the sugar previously dissolved in 3tbs of warm water. Whisk well and add the mascarpone and strawberry compote. Mix to obtain a smooth, light cream.
Whip the cream and add to the mascarpone mix, blending from the top down.
Place a layer of biscuits in a dish and moisten slightly with the rum. Spread half the cream over them and dust with cocoa powder. Cover with the remaining biscuits and moisten them with the rum. Spread the rest of the cream over them and dust again with cocoa.

Ingredients (For 8):
200g cream
200g mascarpone
150g strawberry and balsamic vinegar compote
180g lady finger or Savoiardi biscuits
4 egg yolks
80g sugar
Rum (or any sweet liqueur)
Unsweetened cocoa powder
